Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy PC Controls

Default PC Key Bindings

Resonance on PC uses a standard WASD movement layout with mouse-driven camera and combat aiming. The preview build controls align with modern action-adventure conventions, making the transition from other PC action games straightforward.

All bindings listed below reflect the default configuration. Access Settings > Controls to rebind any key. Steam Deck and handheld PC users can use the built-in controller profile with Xbox button mappings.

Movement and Camera

W, A, S, D handle character movement. The mouse controls camera orientation with adjustable sensitivity in settings. Left Shift activates sprint, while C toggles crouch for stealth sections. Spacebar performs dodge rolls during combat and vaults during exploration.

Z enables walk mode for precise positioning near ledges and during stealth takedown setups. Mouse sensitivity, invert Y-axis, and aim assist strength are all configurable.

Combat Inputs

Left Mouse Button executes light attacks and critical strikes (when held). Right Mouse Button enters aim mode for the grappling hook. Q handles parry on tap and block when held — the core defensive mechanic. F performs guard-breaking kicks.

Middle Mouse Button or G activates the grappling hook to pull enemies or reach elevated positions. R throws picked-up objects at enemies for stun setups. Number keys 1-4 can quick-select combat stances if enabled in settings.

Exploration and Puzzle Controls

Tab toggles the Minoan Sphere for light manipulation puzzles. E interacts with objects, opens doors, and performs stealth takedowns from above or behind. N opens Sophia's crew notebook for puzzle clues and navigation hints.

I opens the crafting and inventory menu where Resonance Points can be spent on skill tree upgrades. Esc pauses the game and accesses settings, save options, and the codex.
